This a big day for us! We were so close to scrapping this whole blub idea and planting potted plants when lo and behold, they are sprouting! I have counted 7, yes 7 of our blubs peeking out above the soil. Hurray!
Now if anyone could help us decipher what are weeds and what are not that would be really helpful :)

Yeah, my mom came over on Mother's Day and wouldn't leave until she helped me clear some of my weeds from a plant. Apparently what I thought was the plant sprouting and growing profusely was really a bad, bad, bad weed (my mom emphasized bad).
I am no use to you, my dear! :)
