December 30th! YAY! We are so excited to finally plan our move! It will be hard to say goodbye to all our family and friends, especially around Christmas this year but we are looking forward to finally be settled. Throughout this process I have learned a couple things:
1. Waiting for orders is the equivalent to watching grass grow
2. I am not a patient person.
I fully intend to work on the latter one day but first we need to start packing! The movers are coming on December 10th and we expect to be on the road by the 11th! We can't wait! We are thinking about taking the 40 across the lower states and then drive up the east coast to Rhode Island. If anyone has any suggestions for must-sees... please do tell!

East Coast here we come!
We are moving Newport, Rhode Island! With his expertise as a drill instructor, Todd has been offered an opportunity to dust off his old campaign cover and work for the Naval OCS program training officers. I could not be more proud of him! With his love of teaching, my love of travel and our combined love of just being together, we could not be happier to make the move. The best part is we already have our dear friends, JP and Jennifer, stationed there to help with our transition! We have both bid ado to our current jobs and are now ready to start our lives together in RI! I see lots of clam bakes, lobster rolls, oysters (maybe) and all the other delicacies that New England has to offer in our future. However the question remains, can a native Californian, who has only relied on a sweatshirt for her heating needs, survive on the east coast? I guess we will have to wait and see....
The new adventures of the new Coyers!

We're Married!
After becoming somewhat addicted to our wedding website, I thought it would be a good idea to create a blog so our friends and family can stay updated on the new happenings and goings on in our new fabulous lives! We have now been married 1 blissfully wonderful month and can't wait to see what the future has in store for us. We still look at each other and giggle when we say 'husband' or 'wife' and I think Todd has now successfully gotten used to wearing a ring. We couldn't have been happier with our wedding and feel so blessed by all the love and support from our families and friends. We couldn't ask for better people in our lives.
