Christmas take 2!

The day after Christmas we drove up to Seattle to spend the week with Todd’s family. I can’t for the life of me find the pictures but had a wonderful time. I love Todd’s family so much and always have the best time with them. I am very blessed to have married into such a fun family!

 Merry Christmas!! Santa definitely hit up the Coyer house! Between Santa, my parents (especially my parents), my sister and Adam and us the kiddos were all set, like super all set with toys for AT LEAST a couple years. Any subsequent kiddos will receive nothing for the first few Christmases due to the enormous amount of toys we have now. Seriously. We needed to take a break mid-present opening because it was so much. Ella and Matt are so spoiled!

We had a wonderful Christmas and it was so nice to have everyone at our house. Hope everyone had a great day!

Hey there First Sergeant!

I am so excited to announce that Todd has been selected to the rank of 1stSgt in the United States Marine Corps!!! There were 102 slots available and over 1200 Marines eligible and my sweet husband earned himself a slot. That’s insane! We are talking 8%. Apparently I’m not the only one that thinks he’s awesome. I will forever be amazed at his dedication, drive and work ethic. Congratulations my sweet husband, you are truly a great role model to our son that you can accomplish just about anything you work hard for.

 As previously stated my family has a deep love for all things Disney so when my sister and her husband Adam decided that they wanted to go to Disney World, they decided to see if the rest of the fam wanted to go. Needless to say we all said yes. It was AMAZING. Erin and Adam were able to get an amazing two bedroom suite for us and we spent a week hanging out in the various Disney parks. In the end we all agreed that this might be a trip we do every couple years, it was so great to be with my family and take the little ones on this great vacation.

 We learned here that it is never smart to travel without an thermometer. Poor Mattman sprouted like 5 teeth at the same time which led to a nasty fever which lead to a 5am run to the emergency room. Poor kiddo.

Winetasting with my East Coast Besties!

 I made some truly amazing friends while we lived in Rhode Island and this weekend three of them came out to visit. I met both Amy and Kim while working at Towerstream and have just adored them ever since, then Amy introduced us to her husband Mike, who everyone adores and BAM great group of friends. I has so excited to show them Southern California. We only had a few days so we went to the zoo, an amusement park, a party and of course winetasting. I can't put into words how much fun we had and I can't wait for them to come back!

The not so awesome pumpkin patch...

Its no secret how much I loved Fall on the East Coast. LOVED IT. Every time the leaves changed I dragged Todd to our local pumpkin patch and corn maze. Well since we are back in California I assumed there must be some sort of equally awesome Fall festivities....my asumption was wrong. Temecula boasted that it had its own pumpkin patch and corn maze so we hurried on down. What we found was a parking lot with a few pumpkins and a "corn maze" that had barely grown past my waist. Add to that it was about a 100 degree outside. We spent 5 minutes, realized Matt pooped and went home. Tragic.
