Last snowstorm for the Coyers!

This morning two new parents woke up to find that it was snowing. Giddy with excitement they dressed their sweet son in his snow suit and hurried outside. They anticipated nothing but smiles, joy and amazement from their little cutie as he took in his first snow experience with the flakes falling all around him. They were sure that he would love it...

They were wrong.

If Matty could talk we are pretty sure this is what he was saying....

Merry Christmas!!

Now that we have Matty, Christmas has taken on a whole new meaning. Not only has Matty thrown us back on Santas route but we get to start forming new traditions as a family. We were so excited to have him with us this year and though he had no idea what was going on we woke up on Christmas morning to lots of smiles and happiness. He is such a sweetie!

3 months old!

Our little guy is learning new things everyday. He smiles at everyone all the time and just started to giggle. It melts our hearts to see him laugh, we had no idea we were so funny! He's grabbing at things, eating well and loves just hanging out with us. We love him so much!

Happy Thanksgiving!

After three years of marriage and many false starts we finally christened our wedding china for Thanksgiving. Since its our last here in New England we figured why not. It was so pretty but I won't lie, we were nervous the whole time. We are not entirely sure we are mature enough to use it on a regular basis. :)

Our little guy just had some shots (which was incredibly heartbreaking to watch) and since then our poor Matty really just wants to be held. Since I had some baking to do for Thanksgiving I decided to strap him in the backpack and go about my business.

He was a perfect little helper. Just slept and coo'd, such a sweetie.

We bought a house!!

After saving FOREVER we finally bought a little place we can call home. It is a gorgeous 3,000 sq. ft 5 bedroom home in Temecula, CA, literally around the corner from where we got married. We are so excited to make this next step in our lives and make this place our happy little home.

Two Months!!

Our sweet little boy is 2 months!

Wow he is growing so fast. We just love him so much. He is learning new things everyday and has just started smiling and talking to us. He's even sleeping mostly through the night!

I love the ball and we were so lucky that one of my wonderful coworkers was available to watch Matty so we could enjoy a night out! We had a wonderful time and it was SO nice to get dressed up and not be covered in spit up!

We spent Halloween this year with Nix, Jason and their adorable son Lincoln. The boys were none too pleased about their costumes. I don't think Matty has forgiven us yet. :/

The Marine Corps Marathon!

We are in Washington D.C.! Todd and our good friend Jason decided to make the rest of us feel bad about our physical health and run a marathon! I am so incredibly proud of them both! We had a wonderful weekend catching up with some amazing friends and watching our boys run their tails off!
